Brilliant posting Judith.

Every CEO needs a mentor in my opinion - in reality several, as the delivered corporate service orchestrated by the CEO needs to be much more than what just one person can deliver.

For this reason it is vital that any CEO is surrounded by the right mix of 'composite' trusted contacts and advisors - all understanding the main objectives and challenges the CEO is facing.

Although a CEO role requires a deep vision on the road-map for the success of the company - at least one of the advisors in this circle should be a Maverick - like Judith, as external eyes and radical thinking are a requirement for any successful venture and should be treasured as valuable assets by the CEO role
